About me

I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with a certification in perinatal mental health. I began my career in mental health by specializing in Health Psychology at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I have worked in a variety of settings with diverse populations and have come to understand how changes in physical health can significantly impact emotional well being, relationships, and daily routines.

I am especially passionate about supporting individuals affected by the challenges getting pregnant, being pregnant, and transitioning into parenthood can bring. I have completed additional coursework to obtain my Perinatal Mental Health Certification and can help clients navigate infertility, loss, postpartum anxiety and depression, and many other pregnancy related concerns.

Other areas of clinical focus include managing chronic illness, caregiving, life transitions, relationship issues, and anxiety disorders.

I utilize a collaborative, strengths based approach with elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in my work with clients.

I feel therapy should be comfortable and accessible, and I strive to create a non-judgmental, safe space for clients to explore and grow as they work towards their goals.
